Long, 25, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in Tennessee before he was waived at the start of the season and later signed on to the Dolphins’ practice squad.
The Rams would later sign him to a future/reserve contract in January. However, the Rams waived him earlier in the week.
During his college career at both New Mexico and Maryland, Long caught 130 passes for 1,873 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He also contributed another 425 kick return yards and a touchdown on special teams.
