According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles are signing CB Riq Woolen to a one-year deal worth up to $15 million.

Connor Hughes reported earlier today that the Giants are pivoting their free agent cornerback search to Woolen after missing out on Jamel Dean and Cordale Flott. However, New York has missed out on another CB.

Woolen becomes Philadelphia’s first outside free agent to be signed thus far.

Woolen, 26, converted from receiver to cornerback at UTSA. The Seahawks selected him in the fifth round with the No. 153 overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft.

He’s entering the final year of a four-year, $3.992 million rookie contract that included a signing bonus of $332,216 and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2026.

In 2025, Woolen appeared in 16 games for the Seahawks and recorded 41 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception and 12 pass defenses.
