Eagles Signing DT T.Y. McGill

According to Tim McManus, the Eagles signed DT T.Y. McGill to their active roster on Tuesday.

Philadelphia brought McGill in for a workout on Tuesday, so they were clearly impressed enough to sign him. (NFLTR)

McGill, 25, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina State back in 2015. He lasted just a few months in Seattle before he was claimed off of waivers by the Colts.

McGill had had brief stints with the Browns, and Chiefs before the Chargers waived him last month and he was later claimed by the Eagles. Philadelphia waived him the following day with a failed physical designation earlier this month.

In 2017, McGill has appeared in three games and recorded one tackle.
