Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that free agent G Evan Mathis will take his scheduled visit to Seattle on Saturday to meet with the Seahawks.
According to Rapoport, despite having interest from other teams, itโs unlikely that Mathis will reach an agreement before his visit with the Seahawks.

Paul Kuharsky of ESPN reports that the Titans are โmonitoringโ whatโs happening with free agent G Evan Mathis.
- Kuharsky suspects that Tennessee is interested in possibly signing him to a contract.

ESPNโs Adam Schefter reports that free agent G Evan Mathis will visit with the Seahawks on Saturday.
- Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk has confirmed the report, but mentions that the other interested teams arenโt known at this point in time.
However, Schefter adds that itโs still uncertain whether Mathis will travel to Seattle, given that he has interest from other NFL teams.
The Seahawks could really use some interior offensive line help and thereโs no question that Mathis represents the best available option.
There has been a lot of buzz about him joining the Dolphins ever since he was released by the Eagles several months ago, but Miami has elected to bring in cheaper options in recent days.
Mathis, 33, is among the best available free agents, but there hasnโt been as much interest in him as many expected, which likely has something to do with his asking price.
Recent reports have mentioned that Mathis is looking for close to $5.5 million for the 2015 season.
Last year, Mathis appeared in nine games for the Eagles after he dealt with an MCL injury. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 2 guard out of 78 qualifying players.
We have Mathis rated as the No. 1 player in our Top 25 Available Free Agents list.
