Falcons Activate WR Drew Davis From PUP List, Cut WR Freddie Martino

The Atlanta Falcons announced Friday that they have activated WR Drew Davis from the physically unable to perform list and waived WR Freddie Martino.

Davis, 25, returned to practice a few weeks ago after he was forced to begin the 2014 season the PUP list Davis, due to foot injury that required surgery during the summer.

Davis signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in 2011. He’s in the final year of his rookie contract and will be a restricted free agent following the season.

Last year, Davis appeared in all 16 games and caught 12 passes for 216 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
