Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Atlanta Falcons have signed P Matt Bosher to a five-year contract extension.
- According to Yates, Bosher receives $5.95 million guaranteed and a $2.5 million signing bonus.
- Yates also reports that the Falcons have extended LS Josh Harris‘ contract through 2018.
Bosher, 26, was entering the final year of his rookie contract and has a base salary of $645,000 for the 2014 season.
Pro Football Focus rated Bosher as the No. 5 punter in the league last season with 29 punts downed inside the 20-yard line and a net punt average of 42.3.
Harris, 25, signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2012. Since then, he has yet to miss a single game.
