Aaron Wilson reports that the Falcons brought in former Giants P/K Austin Rehkow for a workout recently.
Rehkow, 23, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Idaho last year. He was waived during the preseason and sat out the entire 2017 season.
The Giants signed Rehkow to a futures contract this past January, but he was waived shortly after this year’s draft.
During his four-year college career at Idaho, Rehkow made 70 of 92 field goal attempts (76.1 percent) to go along with 135 of 140 extra point tries (96.4 percent). He also totaled 5,505 punt yards on 124 attempts (44.4 YPA) over the course of 48 games.
