Tuerk, 26, was a former third-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.57 million contract and set to make base salaries of $613,000 and $760,000 over the next two years when the Chargers waived in 2017.
Los Angeles re-signed him to their practice squad a few weeks later but the Cardinals elected added him to their active roster during the season and he finished out the year in Arizona.
For his NFL career, Tuerk was active for one game while playing for the Cardinals in 2017.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Max’s family and friends.
