Maragos recently underwent a third surgery on his knee.
Maragos, 32, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2010. He spent just over a year with the 49ers before he was waived and later and later signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad.
It wasn’t until 2014 that Maragos joined the Eagles. He agreed to a restructured contract last year, but he spent the season on the Eagles’ PUP list.
Philaldephia elected to cut Maragos loose this past February.
In 2017, Maragos appeared in six games and recorded 11 tackles for the Eagles before being placed on injured reserve.
