Howard Balzer of the LockerDome.com reports that free agent DT Kevin Williams worked out for the Seahawks on Monday.
The Giants recent brought in Williams for a visit, which happened to be the first reported meeting with an NFL team this offseason. Williams ultimately left with a contract from New York.
The Seahawks continue to look for more depth at defensive line even after they brought back Tony McDaniel a few weeks ago.
Williams, 34, has spent eleven seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, and was considered one of the best interior lineman in the league for a large potion of his career.
In 2013, he totaled 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus rated Williams as the No. 27 interior defensive linemen in the league.
We have him listed as the No. 5 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
