Giants Hosting C John Sullivan For Visit, Redskins Also Interested

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Giants are bringing free agent C John Sullivan for a visit and he’s also generating interest from the Redskins.

Rams GM Les Snead told reporters on Wednesday that they are in talks with Sullivan and OLB Connor Barwin about returning to Los Angeles, per Alden Gonzalez.

Sullivan, 32, is a former sixth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2008. He had two years remaining on his six-year, $25.6 million contract when the Vikings cut him loose in 2016 after they were unable to find a trade partner.

The Redskins signed him to a contract a few weeks into the regular season and finished out the 2016 season in Washington. The Rams signed him to a one-year deal back in April of last year.

In 2017, Sullivan appeared in 15 games for the Rams and Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 10 overall center out of 68 qualifiers.
