Dan Duggan reports that the Giants are signing DL Josh Banks to their practice squad on Tuesday.
The Giants’ practice squad now consists of:
- CB Grant Haley
- TE Garrett Dickerson
- OLB Avery Moss
- LB Calvin Munson
- WR Alonzo Russell
- WR Jawill Davis
- RB Jhurell Pressley
- OT Victor Salako
- LB Ukeme Eligwe
- DL Josh Banks
Banks, 24, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest back in May of last year. He was able to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was entering the second year of his three-year, $1.66 million contract when the Giants cut him loose this past weekend.
During his college career at Wake Forest, Banks recordedย 107 tackles, 19.5 tackles for a loss, 10.5 sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown, three forced fumbles, four recoveries and four pass defenses over the course of 41 games.
