Giants Waive WR Darius Powe

The New York Giants announced that they’ve placed WR Darius Powe on waivers Monday.

Powe, 24, signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2016. New York waived him shortly after but signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.

The Giants re-signed Powe to a futures contract last January, but he was waived with an injury designation and later reverted to their injured reserve list. He was on and off of the Giants’ practice squad before eventually being called up last December.

In 2017, Powe appeared in one game for the Giants and caught two passes for 13 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
