Giants Waive WR Kevin Snead From Injured Reserve With Settlement

The New York Giants officially waived WR Kevin Snead from injured reserve with a settlement on Thursday.

Snead wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Carson-Newman back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.

The Giants waived him with an injury designation last week.

Snead also ran track for his Division II University and clocked a 4.22 40-yard dash at the Titans’ pro day this offseason.
