According to Adam Schefter, the Jets are hosting Houston DT Ed Oliver for a visit Monday and Tuesday.
The Jets hold the No. 3 overall pick, and could consider either taking Oliver there or trying to trade down a few slots and still land him.
Oliver, 21, is a really intriguing prospect, who has tested well throughout the draft process. There’s even been talk about some teams wanting him to play linebacker at the next level.
Oliver could end up being a top-10 pick when all is said and done.
During his three-year college career at Houston, Oliver recorded 192 tackles, 53 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, a recovery and 11 pass defenses over the course of 32 games.
