Jaguars Place LB Daryl Smith On IR With Designated To Return

The Jaguars placed LB Daryl Smith on the injured reserve list with the option to return, according to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida-Times Union.

Smith was outstanding for the Jaguars last season. He graded out as a very solid player, according to Pro Football Focus ratings in run defense, pass rush skill and coverage ability. It appears as though there’s a decent chance that the Jaguars will allow him to leave following the season.
