Wester worked out for Jacksonville on Thursday and it looks like he was impressive enough to earn an offer from the team.
Wester previously met with the Falcons, Chiefs and Lions.
Wester, 26, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State. He managed to make the 53-man roster as a rookie and played out the final year of his three-year contract in Tampa Bay.
The Buccaneers declined to tender Wester an offer as a restricted free agent and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Wester appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and played 118 total snaps.
