Ryan O’Halloran reports that Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts has officially been ruled out of Week 14’s matchup against the New York Jets.
Shorts suffered a concussion during last week’s game and hasn’t been able to practice at all this week. He’s still dealing with concussion symptoms, so it’s hard to say whether or not he’ll even be available for next weekend’s game against the Dolphins.
Jacksonville already plans on starting Montell Owens at running back this week and their receiving corp will likely consist of Justin Blackmon, Jordan Shipley and Kevin Elliott, so their work is definitely cut out for them.
