Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel confirmed that Jamaal Charles had some knee soreness during Sunday game, per Adam Teicher. Crennel adds that Charles is still expected to play next weekend.

Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star believes that Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles isn’t fully healthy. With only nine touches in yesterday’s blowout loss to the Bills, Babb thinks there is no reason why Charles had so few carries yesterday unless something was wrong.
The Bills did roll the Chiefs to the tune of 35-17, so it’s possible that the Chiefs coaching staff was holding out there star RB to avoid the risk of injury in a blowout. Unless Charles is on the team’s injury report, then there is no indication that something is wrong with his surgically repaired knee.
