Jets Considering Trades To Clear Cap Space?

According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, the Jets may end up having to โ€œtrade a player or twoโ€ to clear some extra cap space.

Pompei mentions that theyโ€™ll consider trading some of their โ€œlower level playersโ€ which should afford them some โ€œmaneuverabilityโ€ come draft day.

There was talk previously that the Jets were shopping RT Wayne Hunter around the league, but itโ€™s really not surprising that another team didnโ€™t bite on of the worst tackles in the game, who just happens to be on the books for $2.45 million next season. If the Jets are able to move him, it would be pretty impressive, but they could always release him too if they need the cap space.

We recently updated all 32 teamsโ€™ Cap Space and the Jets supposedly have $7.8 million available to them.
