Jets Reportedly Still Talking To G Willie Colon Regarding A Return

Jason La Canfora reports that the Jets are still in talks with veteran G Willie Colon and are hopeful that they can reach an agreement.

Colon hasn’t found a lot of interest since the free agent market kicked off last week.

Colon, 30, suffered a torn biceps during the team’s Week 17 game, so that remains a bit of a concern for him this offseason.

Colon could still be a decent value option for team’s looking for an interior lineman. Last year, Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 4 guard in terms of pass blocking, which is actually pretty impressive. However, his run-blocking ability was underwhelming.
