Jets Sign OL Dieugot Joseph To PS, Release RB De’Angelo Henderson

The New York Jets announced that they’ve signed OL Dieugot Joseph to their practice squad and released RB De’Angelo Henderson from the unit.

Joseph, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Florida International back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Bears cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

Joseph spent a few months on the Ravens’ practice squad before he was released a few weeks ago and later signed by the Vikings to their taxi squad. Minnesota brought him back on a futures contract this past January only to waive him during the preseason.

Joseph had a brief stint on the Jets’ practice squad.

Joseph has yet to appear in an NFL game.
