Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Jets brought in five players for workouts including LB Glenn Carson, G Sean Hickey, TE Marcel Jensen, G Cole Manhart, and DB Robert Nelson.
Jensen, 25, signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State back in May of last year. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but later signed on their practice squad.
The Broncos wound up claiming Jensen off of waivers from the Jaguars shortly after this year’s draft. However, he was among their final roster cuts.
Jensen signed on to the Falcons’ practice squad at the start of the regular season before being waived a few weeks ago.
In 2014, Jensen appeared in one came and caught a single pass for eight yards.
