According to Mike Kaye, the Jets are bringing in free agent LB Paul Worrilow for a workout on Friday.
Aaron Wilson adds that the Jets also tried out LB Vincent Rey Friday.
Back in August, Worrilow announced his retirement from the NFL and was later released by the Ravens, so it appears as though he’s changed his mind about calling it a career.
Worrilow, 29, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware back in 2013. He returned to the Falcons on a one-year, $2.553 million restricted tender back in March of 2016.
Worrilow played one season for the Lions before the Eagles signed him to a one-year contract last year. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending torn ACL. He returned to Philadelphia this offseason, but was just recently released.
The Ravens signed Worrilow to a contract back in August but later announced his retirement from the NFL. Baltimore subsequently released him.
In 2017, Worrilow appeared in 13 games for the Lions and recorded 30 total tackles, one fumble recovery, and one pass defense.
