Adam Teicher reports on Twitter that the Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to terms with safety Abram Elam.
Elam will provide depth at the position, behind SS Eric Berry, coming off ACL surgery, and FS Kendrick Lewis, who had surgery on a torn pectoral muscle. Elam has started at least 15 games in each of the past three seasons.
He has played in the NFL for six years, most recently for the Dallas Cowboys as well as the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns.
