According to a team source, Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb will be out several weeks after he sustained numerous rib injuries and chest injury in Sunday’s loss to the Bills, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It’s unclear just how long Kolb will miss at this point, but with numerous detached ribs and a sprained joint in his chest, it sounds like he could miss upwards of a month. The Cardinals offensive line deserves most of the blame here, as they have given up 23 sacks in their last three games. John Skelton will take over as the Cardinals starting quarterback in Week 7 as he takes on the Vikings ninth-ranked defense.
