The Lions announced Tuesday they’ve activated WR Tommylee Lewis from the PUP list.
Detroit also signed CB Johnathan Alston and waived CB Tarvarus McFadden in a corresponding move.
Lewis, 26, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois back in 2016. He was in the final year of his three-year, $1.62 million contract and made a base salary of $630,000 for the 2018 season.
Lewis was not tendered by the Saints as a restricted free agent and he later agreed to a contract with the Lions in March.
In 2018, Lewis appeared in seven games for the Saints and caught three passes for 60 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also rushed twice for 10 yards and totaled 69 kick return yards.
