The Detroit Lions announced the release of eight players as well as their undrafted rookie class of 11 players on Monday.
Among the released were: CB Nate Ness, S Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, TE Matt Veldman, K John Potter, WR Carlin Isles, LB Jon Morgan, C Sherman Carter and WR Cody Wilson.
There’s really no major names among this group, but this is largest number of players released by a team so far.
