Lions Bring In Two Running Backs To Replace Mikel Leshoure

The Detroit Lions have announced that the have signed running backs Jerome Harrison and Mike Bell now that second-round draft pick Mikel Leshoure is lost for the season with a torn Achilles tendon.

Leshoure was brought in to give them power compliment to Jahvid Best but Mike Bell has played that role for the Saints and Browns in the last two years. Jerome Harrison is more of a finesse back but was the best available option on the open market. Adding the extra back is good move because of Best’s injury problems.
