Dave Birkett reports that Detroit Lions RB Kevin Smith was able to participate in the team Thursday practice despite his nagging ankle injury. Birkett adds that it “looks like he’ll be a go barring a tweak.”
Just yesterday it was reported that Smith was unable to take part in any activity which made it seem like he could sit in favor of Maurice Morris. Smith was still limited throughout today’s practice but appears to be in line for a start in Week 13.
