The Detroit Lions announced Friday that they’ve re-signed RB Paul Perkins to their practice squad and released OT Casey Tucker from the unit.
Hereโs the Lions updated practice squad:
- TE Isaac Nauta
- T Matt Nelson
- LB Anthony Pittman
- LB Jason Cabinda
- WR Chris Lacy
- WR Travis Fulgham
- DE Jonathan Wynn
- WR Tom Kennedy
- RB Wes Hills
- RB Paul Perkins
Perkins, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Giants back in 2016. The Giants waived Perkins with a non-football injury designation last year and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
New York elected to cut Perkins loose last month and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Lions. Since then, Perkins has been on and off of the Lions’ active roster.
In 2017, Perkins appeared in 11 games for the Giants and rushed for 90 yards on 41 carries (2.2 YPC) to go along with eight receptions for 46 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
