Webb, 33, is a former sixth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2010. After four years in Minnesota, Webb signed a two-year deal with the Panthers and has served as a receiver and a backup quarterback.
Carolina brought Webb back on a two-year contract back in 2016 before releasing him at the start of 2017. The Bills later signed him to a contract and he finished out the year in Buffalo.
The Texans signed Webb to a contract in 2018 and returned to the team the following year. The Lions signed him to their practice squad last month.
In 2017, Webb appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and completed two of seven pass attempts for 35 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 54 yards on eight carries.
