The Detroit Lions announced that they’veย signed CB Rashaad Reynolds to a contract andย waived DBย Ian Wells with an injury designation.
Should Wells clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Reynolds, 25, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2014. The Jaguars elected to waive him at the start of the 2015 season, but later signed him to their practice squad.
Jacksonville elected to bring Reynolds back on a future/reserve contract in January. However, they once again waived him this past June.
Reynolds has yet to appear in an NFL game.
