The Detroit Lions have signed LB Brandon Chubb to their practice squad on Tuesday following a workout, according to Ian Rapoport.
The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Jace Billingsley
- CB Alex Carter
- WR TJ Jones
- CB D’Joun Smith
- QB Jake Rudock
- G Brandon Thomas
- RB Mike James
- LB Steve Longa
- DB Charles Washington
- LB Brandon Chubb
Chubb, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest back in May. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.
Los Angeles elected to cut Chubb loose a few weeks into the regular season.
Chubb has yet to appear in an NFL game.
