Lions Sign Second-Round RB Kerryon Johnson

According to Ian Rapoport, the Lions have signed second-round RB Kerryon Johnson to a four-year contract on Friday.

Johnson becomes the second draft pick from the Lions’ 2018 class to sign his rookie deal.

Johnson was selected with the No. 43 overall pick in the second round of this year’s NFL draft by the Lions. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $6,503,698 contract that includes a $2,809,960 signing bonus.

During his college career at Auburn, Johnson rushed for 2,494 yards on 519 carries (4.8 YPC) to go along with 478 yards receiving on 55 receptions and 34 total touchdowns over the course of 36 games.
