The Detroit Lions announced that they have signed WR Travis Fulgham to their practice squad and released DT Frank Herron to make room for him.

The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT John Atkins
- LB Steve Longa
- TE Isaac Nauta
- T Matt Nelson
- LB Anthony Pittman
- LB Jason Cabinda
- DE Eric Lee
- WR Chris Lacy
- DT Ray Smith
- WR Travis Fulgham
Fulgham, 24, was a sixth-round pick by the Lions out of Old Dominion this year. He signed a four-year deal worth $2.7 million and was set to make a base salary of $495,000 in 2019 when Detroit cut him loose earlier this week.
Fulgham has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career, Fulgham caught 128 passes for 2,044 yards and 18 touchdowns in 39 career games.
