Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that the Lions are signing LB Reggie Ragland to a contract on Friday.
Ragland, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2016. Buffalo traded him to the Chiefs in exchange for a 2019 fourth-round pick.
Ragland played out the final year of his four-year, $5.84 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2019, Ragland appeared in 14 games for the Chiefs and recorded 29 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 35 linebacker out of 89 qualifying players.
We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
