According to Rich Cimini ofย ESPN New York, Jets QB Mark Sanchez hasn’t had “an efficient minicamp.”
Cimini adds that the Jets remain committed to Sanchez as their quarterback, but points out thatย “there were times when he didn’t seem comfortable throwing the football.”
Sanchez wasย 11-for-29, with four sacks and three near-interceptions during this weeks workouts.
While this hardly an indication of how he’ll play this season, it’s still interesting to consider, at least on some level. The addition of Tim Tebow will apply pressure to Sanchez no matter what the Jets say or how they use Tebow this season. Learning a new system is certainly difficult, but unfortunately for him, that’s the task at hand.
