NFC South Notes: Buccaneers, Falcons, Saints

Buccaneers

Buccaneers HC Dirk Koetter said that QB Jameis Winston is re-adjusting to the tempo after serving his three-game suspension.

“That’s hard to say until we really play full speed, because practice is practice and game speed is game speed,” Koetter said, per Rick Stroud. “But I think Jameis has looked good this week and I wouldn’t expect anything else.”

• The Buccaneers officially ruled out DT Beau Allen (foot) on Friday and have CB Carlton Davis (groin), DT Vita Vea (calf), S Jordan Whitehead (shoulder/hamstring) and CB Marcus Williams (hamstring) all down as questionable.

Falcons

• Falcons HC Dan Quinn announced Friday that DE Takk McKinley will play this weekend.
• The Falcons officially ruled out RB Devonta Freeman (knee), DE Derrick Shelby (groin) and CB Justin Bethel (knee) for Week 4.

Saints

• The New Orleans Saints officially ruled out LB Manti Te’o (knee) for Sunday’s game against the Giants and have rookie DE Marcus Davenport (hip) listed as questionable.
• Saints promoted RB Dwayne Washington to their active roster. (NFLTR)
