NFL Draft Rumors: Running List

There are already tons of rumors circulating, so we decided to compile them in a running list that’s broken down by team.

Trade Rumors

• Browns trade up to No. 3 and send three picks to the Vikings.  (Adam Schefter) (Jay Glazer)
• Trent Richardson will reportedly be the pick.
• Vikings receive a  4th, 5th and 7th round pick from the Browns

• Trading Up: Eagles, Patriots, Packers, Chargers, Jaguars and Bills are all considering a trade up. (Adam Schefter)

49ers

• Georgia Tech WR Stephen Hill is on 49ers radar at No. 30 overall. (John Clayton)

Bears

• The Bears are not expected to consider Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick should he available at No. 19. (Chicago Tribune)

Bengals

•  “There was a rumor going around” that the Bengals have talked with Seattle about moving up for LB Luke Kuechly. (Cincinnati Enquirer)

Bills

• Chargers and Cowboys discussing a deal with the Bills in an attempt to land S Mark Barron. (Tony Pauline)
• Bills reportedly see Alabama’s Mark Barron as a “once-in-a-generation” safety. (WGR 550 Buffalo)
• Bills GM Buddy Nix refutes reports of the trading up for USC LT Matt Kalil. (BuffaloBills.com)
• The Bills’ interest in moving up for USC LT Matt Kalil is “legitimate,” and there’s a “good chance” they could make this move. (Buffalo News)

Browns

• Browns GM Tom Heckert does not expect to trade out of the No. 4 overall pick, but adds “”never say never.” (Nate Ulrich)
• There’s a sense at the Browns head quarters that a team may jump them for Trent Richardson. (Bob Holtzman)
• Browns are considering trading down if the Buccaneers trade to No. 3 for Trent Richardson. (Jason Cole)
• The Browns could end trading back into the first round to select Brandon Weeden at No. 31. (Jason La Canfora)
• Browns have reportedly narrowed their focus to Alabama RB Trent Richardson and LSU CB Morris Claiborne at No. 4. (Bob Holtzman)

Buccaneers

• There’s a “good chance” the Cowboys will take LSU DT Michael Brockers at No. 14. (Todd Archer)

Dolphins

• ESPN’s Rachel Nichols: “The Dolphins haven’t drafted a QB in the 1st round since 1983. Sentiment here is, it’s time.” (Evan Silva)
• Chris Mortensen mentioned that he “really believe(s)” the Dolphins will draft Ryan Tannehill at No. 8. (ESPN.com)

Eagles

• Eagles could trade up to No. 11 if QB Ryan Tannehill is still on the board. (Ian Rapoport)

Jaguars

• Jaguars are “pushing for deal” to move up and take WR Justin Blackmon. (Adam Schefter)

• Jaguars could move up for WR Justin Blackmon. “The Jaguars would love to find a way to get (him).”

Jets

• Jets are showing “strong interest” in Syracuse DE Chandler Jones and are willing to trade up for him. (Rich Cimini)

Lions

Panthers

• Panthers don’t see South Carolina CB Stephon Gilmore as a top-10 pick. (Charlotte Observer)

Patriots

• Patriots have inquired about the asking price for the Seahawks No. 12 pick. (Albert Breer) – refuted by (Stacey Dale)
• Patriots could be looking at taking Chandler Jones No. 12. (Evan Silva)

Rams

• Rams have reportedly contacted CB Dre Kirkpatrick’s HS coach. Could a team to watch if he falls. (Josina Anderson)
• The St. Louis Post-Dispatch doesn’t see Mississippi State DT Fletcher Cox as a likely target for the Rams at the No. 6 pick.

Ravens

• Ravens have  identified nine players they believe could be available at 29 and have been in contact with a teams regarding possible deals. (BaltimoreRavens.com)
• Ravens would “love” for Stephen Hill to fall to them at No. 29. (John Clayton)
• The Ravens have shown “consistent interest” in Wisconsin G/C Peter Konz throughout the draft process. (Carroll County Times)

Redskins

• Redskins GM Bruce Allen confirmed that Baylor QB Robert Griffin III will be the No. 2 pick.

Vikings

• Vikings are still considering moving down. (Jay Glazer)
• Four teams inquired about the Vikings 3 pick (Jay Glazer)
• Vikings have LSU CB Morris Claiborne as the No. 1 player on their draft board (Steve Wyche)
• ESPN’s Adam Schefter on #Vikings at 3: “There seems to be a feeling that they might be leaning to Claiborne while still considering Kalil.”
• “A few GMs” that are selecting in top-10 believe that the Vikings will not take Claiborne or Kalil, but will instead draft Blackmon. (Jason La Canfora)
• Vikings “seem focused” on taking CB Morris Claiborne over OT Matt Kalil at No. 3 overall, and plan to target left tackles at the top of the second round. (Mike Lombardi)

NFL Draft Notes:

• “Several teams” are reported to have similar grades on CB’s Stephon Gilmore and Morris Claiborne. There’s a good chance that both go in the top-10. (St Louis Post-Dispatch)
