Catch Rule

49ers

• Eric Branch of the SF Chronicle reports that the 49ers hosted CFL standout WR Eric Rogers for a workout on Monday.

Bengals

• Ian Rapoport reports that the Bengals will host former Cardinals QB Phillip Sims for a tryout on Wednesday.

Cardinals

• HC Bruce Arians said he hopes for CB Jerraud Powers (calf) to return to practice on Wednesday, while CB Patrick Peterson (ankle), TE Jermaine Gresham (knee) and DE Frostee Rucker (ankle) are expected to return for Week 15. (Alex Marvez)

Dolphins

• According to NFLDraftDiamonds.com, the Dolphins will host German Football League MVP WR/CB Tyler Davis for a workout on Wednesday.

Panthers

• Ian Rapoport reports that the Panthers hosted WR Cobi Hamilton for a workout on Tuesday.

Rams

• HC Jeff Fisher said he is hopeful that CB Janoris Jenkins will pass through the league’s concussion protocol in time to play in Thursday’s Week 15 game. (Nick Wagoner)
• Fisher said he should have more information on whether Jenkins will be eligible to play on Wednesday.
