Colts

• Mike Chappell reports that WR Reggie Wayne‘s elbow injury doesn’t appear to be serious, but could force him to miss a game or two.

Jaguars

• TE Marcedes Lewis (ankle) is expected to resume practicing next week. (Hays Carlyon)
• RB Toby Gerhart is progressing from a foot injury that has kept him out of the last two games. (Hays Carlyon)

Jets

• Andrew Brandt points out that since the Jets acquired WR Percy Harvin after their Week 7 game, they will only have to pay him for 10 weeks ($6.47 million) instead of the 11-week total ($7.1 million).

Lions

• RB Reggie Bush (ankle) said he will play in Week 8’s game, despite not being 100 percent healthy. (Kyle Meinke)

• G Vlad Ducasse reportedly has no structural damage in knee and still could play in Week 8. (Adam Caplan)
