NFL Notes: Cowboys, Dolphins, Patriots, Ravens, & Texans

Cowboys

Cowboys executive VP Stephen Jones said he fully expects CB Brandon Carr to be a part of their team in 2015.

“Obviously, we’re working around that situation. Brandon is a really good football player. At some point we may sit down and see if there’s a situation that’s win-win for him and us,” Jones said, via DallasCowboys.com. “I fully expect Brandon to be a part of our team next year.”

Dolphins

Dolphins GM Dennis Hickey said they haven’t ruled out the possibility of re-signing free agent RB Knowshon Moreno.

“I’m certainly not opposed to a quote-unquote power running back, but he has to fit overall with the team and be able to contribute in different ways as well,” Philbin said, via the Palm Beach Post. “He has to do something on special teams, help us in other areas. He has to be able to pass protect. He has to be a viable threat in the passing game.”

Patriots

• Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Florida State cornerback P.J. Williams will visit with the Ravens.

Texans
