NFL Notes: Draft, Bears, Bengals, Jaguars, & Saints

Draft

• FSU QB Jameis Winston won’t announce whether or not he’ll enter the 2015 NFL draft until after the National Championship game, according to his father. (David M. Hale)
• Virginia DE/LB Max Valles announced that he’s entering the 2015 NFL draft.
• Clemson announced that P Bradley Pinion will enter the 2015 NFL draft.

Bears

• Rich Campbell has spoken to multiple sources that have indicated Texans director of player personnel Brian Gaine will interview with the Bears for their GM position on Tuesday.
• Adam Jahns reports that Gaine could be Ernie Accorsi’s top recommendation for the Bears GM vacancy.

Bengals

• Bengals signed S Shiloh Keo to a future/reserve contract. (Rand Getlin)

Jaguars

• Ian Rapoport that the Jaguars requested permission to interview 49ers OC Greg Roman for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
• Ian Rapoport reports that the Jaguars have also requested permission to interview Vikings RBs coach Kirby Wilson for their offensive coordinator position.

Saints

• GM Mickey Loomis refuted a report from Monday that said he was going to be taking on a larger role with the New Orleans Pelicans, which would allow player personnel director Ryan Pace to take over more of his duties.

“The Saints have my full and complete attention. They always have. And if I felt like my role with the Pelicans interfered with that effort with the Saints, then I’d step away from the Pelicans. And I don’t feel that way,” said Loomis, via Mike Triplett of ESPN.
