NFL Notes: Draft, Cowboys, Eagles

Draft

• Boston College WR Jeff Smith has top-30 visits set up with the Vikings, Packers and Saints.  Smith will also work out at the Buccaneers local pro day and has a private workout with the Titans this week. (Greg Auman)
• Oregon DB Ugo Amadi will visit the Bears today, followed by the Jets and Steelers later this week.  (Ian Rapoport)
• Washington OT Kaleb McGary will meet privately with the Eagles, Bills, Saints, Falcons, Chargers, Colts, Cardinals, Panthers, Jaguars, Patriots, Packers, Redskins, Giants and Vikings.  (Aaron Wilson)
• Texas DL Charles Omenihu will work out with the Texans, as well as visit the Steelers and Saints.  (Wilson)
• Texas LB Gary Johnson will visit the Raiders and Steelers this week.  (Wilson)

Cowboys

• According to the Athletic’s Jay Glazer, new Cowboys WR Randall Cobb is an upgrade as a slot receiver and should further help WR Amari Cooper: “Randall is as much a coach-type player as there is.”
• Cowboys DE Robert Quinn will make a base salary of $6 million, $125,000 for each game he’s on the active roster and has an $878,789 incentive if he hits seven sacks. The Dolphins also already paid Quinn a $1.12 million roster bonus, bringing his total compensation to $10 million. (Archer)
• Alabama RB Damien Harris will visit the Cowboys Wednesday. (Ian Rapoport)
• South Carolina WR Deebo Samuel and Georgia WR Mecole Hardman visited the Cowboys Monday. (Josh Norris)
• Miami DL Gerald Willis visited the Cowboys Tuesday. (Norris)
• Memphis RB/WR Tony Pollard will also visit the Cowboys.  (Calvin Watkins)
• Since 2005, the only Cowboys top draft pick to not take a top-30 visit with the team was CB Morris Claiborne in 2012. (Todd Archer)
• Virginia S Juan Thornhill, Washington S Taylor Rapp and Boston College S Will Harris will visit Dallas this week. 

Eagles

• According to Tom Pelissero, the Eagles have high hopes that an offseason spent working on time with receivers and not rehabbing from a major injury will help QB Carson Wentz get back to the MVP level he was playing at in 2017.  
• Georgia CB DeAndre Baker visited the Eagles Tuesday. (Josh Norris)
