NFL Notes: Eagles, Giants, Patriots & Seahawks

Eagles

• Jeff McLane reports that the Eagles are close to finalizing an agreement with Bears scout Joe Douglas to be their next head of personnel.
• According to McLane, an announcement is expected to come on Monday.

Giants

• Notre Dame DE Ishaq Williams announced via his Instagram account Saturday night that he’s signed with the Giants. 

Patriots

• Despite previous reports, Mississippi State WR/TE De’Runnya Wilson has not signed with the Patriots, according to Mike Reiss.

Seahawks

Seahawks OL coach Tom Cable mentions during an interview with ESPN 710 Seattle that they will be moving Justin Britt to center in 2016.

“I think that’s what enables us to do it, the fact that he is well-versed in our system two years now,” Cable explained, via the Seattle Times. “He’s played tackle, he’s played guard, kinda understands it. The issue for him will be getting him comfortable and confident snapping.”
