Falcons

  • Falcons HC Dan Quinn announced Sunday that veteran WR Roddy White will under go a “minor” surgery on his right elbow, but the expectation is that he’ll be back for Week 1. (Vaughn McClure)

Giants

Packers

  • Even though Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was see with his right wrist and forearm heavily wrapped, HC Mike McCarthy said that Rodgers could’ve kept playing. (Rob Demovsky)
  • On the subject of Jordy Nelson‘s ACL injury, McCarthy said he plans to wait until they get back and have more information. (Tom Silverstein)
  • Packers backup QB Scott Tolzien was evaluated for a possible concussion.

Redskins

  • Redskins HC Jay Gruden told reporters on Sunday that even if Robert Griffin III hadn’t left the game injured, he would have kept him in the game because RGIII needs the reps. (Dianna Marie Russini)

Steelers

  • Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt suffered a sprained ankle and is expected to be out a few weeks, according to HC Mike Tomlin.
