Louchez Purifoy

• Aaron Wilson reports that free agent defensive back Louchez Purifoy is suspended for the first 14 weeks of the regular season.

Bills

• Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (knee) said that he’s made progress from a week ago and “feels good.” (Conor Orr)
• However, Taylor added that he’s taking it day by day. (Conor Orr)
• According to Taylor, he split first-team reps with EJ Manuel on Wednesday. (Conor Orr)
• Rex Ryan said that WR Percy Harvin, OT Seantrel Henderson, DT Kyle Williams, and RB Karlos Williams (concussion) did not travel with the Bills to London and are out for this weekend’s game. (Matthew Fairburn)
• Bills CB Leodis McKelvin, who is on the non-football injury list, resumed practicing Wednesday.

Colts

• Colts signed TE Sean McGrath to their practice squad.

Redskins

• Britt McHenry reports that Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring) is not expected to play Week 7’s game against the Buccaneers.

Seahawks

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Seahawks recently worked out RB Ross Scheuerman.
