NFL Netwroks Jason La Canfora writes that sources close to Baltimore Ravens are reporting that the team will meet with Jared Gaither on Wednesday to discuss a new contract.
Gaither’s injury affected the Ravens offensive production throughout the 2010 season. La Canfora writes that scouts suggested that the offensive line shuffle may have been one of the reasons that their running game struggled as much as did this season.
It was previously mentioned that Ravens considered trading Gaither for a high second-round pick or late first-round pick.
On the subject of Haloti Ngata, La Canfora writes that the Ravens will franchise him if they aren’t able to negotiate a longterm deal within the one month that teams will have.
