Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt expressed some optimism regarding the availability of RB Beanie Wells for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.
“We didn’t have any setbacks,” said Whiz. “Hopefully, we’ll get enough reps (Friday) that we’re comfortable and we’ll check it out before the game as well.”
The Cardinals really missed Wells last week as they were not able to get much going on the ground. LaRod Stephens-Howling returned to practice as well so he could see more playing time especially in third-down situations.
